Biography
<p>
After obtaining MD from the College of Medicine at Seoul National University (SNU) in 1986, I completed my internship and residency training in SNU Hospital. I became a board-certified obstetrician and gynaecologist in 1992 and spent 2 years as a clinical fellow of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in the same hospital. I was awarded a doctorate by the Graduate School, SNU in 1992. I has also spent for 2yrs in the United States as a research scholar at the Center for Research on Reproduction and Women's Health, University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. I am currently a professor and a director of Clinic for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility in the Department of Ob and Gyn, College of Medicine, University of Ulsan, Asan Medical Center. I have won the ‘Young Scientist Award’ three times successively at Asia & Oceania Federation of Obstetrics & Gynecology congresses. In 2010, I was voted professor of the year at University of Ulsan. I was pre-selected five times for the Clinical Science Award for poster presentation at annual meeting of ESHRE and received the ‘ASRM 2013 Star Award’ at the 2013 American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) annual meeting. In addition, my biographical profile has been selected for inclusion in the Who’s Who in the World 2016 (Marquis Who’s Who 33rd Edition). I have a publication record, comprising 71 international journal articles and 165 articles in Korean medical journals, and 94 published abstracts for presentation as a corresponding or 1st author.</p>
