Overview
International Journal of Neurooncology & Brain Tumors (IJNBT) is an Open Access peer reviewed, online publishing journal which aims to publish scholarly and quality papers in the significant areas of current Neurooncology & Brain Tumors research.
Neurooncology is a study of brain and spinal cord neoplasms, many of which are very dangerous and life-threatening (astrocytoma, glioma, glioblastoma multiforme, ependymoma, pontine glioma, and brain stem tumors are among the many examples of these). A brain tumor is a mass or growth of abnormal cells in your brain. There are two main types of tumors: malignant or cancerous tumors and benign tumors.
Aims and Scope
The scope of the journal highlights the advanced topics in the cause of most brain tumors is unknown. Types of tumors primary tumors in adults are meningiomas, and glioblastomas such as astrocytomas. In children, the most common type is a malignant medulloblastoma. A glioma is a type of tumor that starts in the brain or spine. It is called a glioma because it arises from glial cells. The common site of gliomas is the brain.
Article Types
International Journal of Neurooncology & Brain Tumors publishes Original research articles, clinical trials, Reviews, Case report, Editorials, Letter to the editor, Short communication, Opinion, Book review and other special featured articles related to the field of neurooncology and brain tumors. neurooncology and brain tumors is crucial reading not only for those occupied in neurooncology and brain tumors research but also for those involved primarily in clinical practice.
