Editorial: Imprinting of Pharmaceuticals

Molecular imprinting technology is promising for pharmaceutical applications for instance, separation, extraction, quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis, screening, delivery and targeting of medicines or their metabolites. The literature demonstrates similar or sometimes even higher selectivity on comparing with those of natural antibodies. Achieving selectivity is still challenging [1], because natural antibodies are generated in nature via "induced fit" mechanism along with the natural optimization of the analyte-receptor interaction [2].

Research Article: Comparing Antioxidant Activity of Ethanolic Olive Cake Extract with some Synthetic Antioxidants on Oxidative Stability of Soybean Oil

Lipid oxidation is one of the main problems in the storage and utilization of edible oils and fats. The use of antioxidants is one of the most effective ways to delay oxidation. In this study, Total Phenolic Compounds (TPC) of olive cake extract (OCE) was evaluated. Then antioxidant activity of OCE and synthetic antioxidant on oxidative stability of soybean oil were compared. For this purpose, peroxide index, anisidine index, and Oxidative Stability Index (OSI) were studied during 4 week. The results revealed that the soybean oil containing 150 ppm OCE had the highest 150 ppm OCE had the highest oxidative stability (OS) during storage period, so that, OS of this oil after 4 weeks (6.9 h) was more than OS of control oil on the first week of storage period (6.26). As well as, OCE at concentration of 150 ppm had more Antioxidant Activity (AA) than synthetic antioxidants in soybean oil.

Research Article: The Mechanism of Hydrolysis Reaction of Adenosine Triphosphate Molecules for the Generation of Bio-Energy and its Properties in the Living Systems

We here introduced and elucidated the mechanism of hydrolysis reaction of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) molecules for generation of bio-energy in the living Systems, in which the detained reaction processes of hydrolysis of ATP molecules and its properties, The center effects and functions of ATP molecules in the life activity, AIP enzyme and production of bio-energy in the hydrolysis of ATP molecules and The formation of ATP molecules and its relation with Δ-μH+ were described and explained. From these introductions and results we understand and knew that this mechanism of generation of bio-energy is its an important form, which exists widely in the life bodies of generation of bio-energy. Therefore, to elucidate and research this mechanism and its properties have quite important meanings in biology, biochemistry and biophysics.
