Dr. Liping Yang graduated from Nankai University in China with a B.S. and M.S, in Chemistry with an emphasis in analytical chemistry.  She earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Oregon State University (OSU), which focus on the application of liquid-chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS) based proteomics. After her graduation from OSU, she then stayed on to grow and manage the mass spectrometry center.  Along with the professional mass spectrometrists who staff the center, Dr. Yang is knowledgeable, skilled, and experienced in the practical application of modern LC-MS techniques to solve important research questions. Dr. Yang is a member of ASMS, and an active reviewer in most prestigious analytical chemistry journals, including Analytical Chemistry, Analytica Chimica Acta, Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, and Frontier in Chemistry.
