Biography

Preeti Bharaj is currently pursuing her interest in HIV immunology at the Texas Tech University Health Science Center in El Paso, Texas. She earned her PhD at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. She has been associated with Virology for 10 years including respiratory viruses, flaviviruses and currently HIV. She has 15 reviewed papers and is an author on two book chapters. She has mentored a range of both medical and graduate students. She is also an Editor of the World Journal of Virology and has served as a reviewer for journals in the area of virology, cancer and immunology. She is a recipient of numerous awards for women in science including Florida Breast Cancer Fellowship.</p>
