Dr. Carmela De Crea is Assistant Professor of surgery at the Catholic University Sacro Cuore, Rome, Italy and Chief, Section of “Integrated Diagnostics and Treatment of Thyroid Cancer” at Hospital “A. Gemelli”, Rome, Italy. She received her Medical Doctorate, cum laude from the Catholic University Sacro Cuore, Rome, Italy in 1997. Dr Carmela De Crea received her Ph.D. in “Experimental Endodocrine, Metabolic and Surgical Sciences” from Catholic University Sacro Cuore, Rome, Italy in 2008. She was a visiting professor at the Section of Endocrine Surgery Duke University, Durham, NC in 2014. Dr Carmela De Crea is Co-author of 200 scientific publications and got affiliations from 4 scientific communities like European Society of Endocrine Surgeons (E.S.E.S.), Italian Surgical Society (S.I.C.), Italia’n Society for Endocrine Surgery (S.I.E.C.) and Board Member at Italian Association of Endocrine Surgeons.</p>
