Biography

Dr. Naila Rasheed is working at the College of Medicine, Biochemistry Department in Qassim University, Buraidah, KSA. She completed her Ph.D. at Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), Lucknow, India in 2010. Dr. Naila’s career has been in the area of Stress induced alterations in neuroendocrine and behavioral changes and also worked on central dopaminergic systems under various stressful conditions. Later she joined the Department of Nutrition, School of Medicine, CASE Western Reserve University, Cleveland, USA where gained the research experience on alteration in transcription factor during stressful conditions. Currently her research work concerned with free radicals mediated autoimmunity in patients with autoimmune diseases including working with animal models. Studies are also focusing on anti-disease action of active constituents of natural and/or plants products on various cell types, mechanisms behind their action and the signaling pathways, also conducting some questionnaire based survey studies. She currently has numerous International peer reviewed publications.</p>
